Crit Happens
Be a Guest on Fail & Fortune
Got a podcast disaster you barely survived? A magical moment you still talk about two years later?
We want to hear it.
Fail & Fortune is a show about the beautifully broken side of TTRPG and actual play creation. We sit down with DMs, players, editors, producers, and storytellers to swap tales of:
Campaigns that went off the rails
Tech fails that nearly ended everything
Moments that reminded you why you love the game
Whether you’ve been making shows for years or just crit-failed your first pilot — your story belongs here.

Comedy, Confession, Catharsis
Built on Bad Rolls & Good Intentions
Fail & Fortune is a podcast for every TTRPG creator who’s hit “record” and immediately regretted it.
For every GM who forgot a plotline mid-session, every player who brought emotional backstory to a goblin fight, and every actual play editor who's begged a hard drive for mercy — this show is for you.
We believe that failure isn't just part of the process — it is the process.
Every week, we sit down with the brilliant, chaotic minds behind actual play shows, tabletop campaigns, and dice-fueled dramas to ask:
-
What went wrong?
-
What went so right it made you cry?
-
And how did you survive the session, the edit, or the arc that almost broke you?
From corrupted audio to surprise character deaths, from unscripted breakthroughs to total narrative collapse — Fail & Fortune is where we pull back the curtain, laugh at the mess, and celebrate the magic that somehow still makes it to air.
Because behind every polished episode is a timeline full of screaming.
And that? That’s the good stuff.
